Brandon Mychal Smith

Brandon Mychal Smith (born May 29, 1989) is an actor, comedian, singer, dancer and rapper, best known for his roles as Li'l Danny Dawkins in Phil of the Future, Nico Harris in Sonny with a Chance and So Random!, Stubby in Starstruck, and Lord of da Bling in Let It Shine.
He attended Escuela de Montessori Elementary School. He has been home-schooled since his elementary years. For his senior year of high school, Smith attended and graduated from University High School in Los Angeles and went on to complete a year at Hampton University before focusing on his career.
Smith won a "Family Television Award" and Young Artist Award in 2007 for his performance as Tayshawn in The Ron Clark Story, which also stars Matthew Perry. His other credits include the 2006 production of Gridiron Gang as Bug Wendal, Adulthood and a recurring role as Mario in Unfabulous. He starred in the 2010 Disney Channel Original Movie Starstruck, alongside his Sonny With a Chance co-star Sterling Knight. Smith also performs the song and music video "Party Up" for Starstruck. He is currently working with Maxrank on his newest album.
