Tim McGee

Timothy Dwayne Hatchett McGee (born August 7, 1964) is a retired professional American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins from 1986 to 1994. Before his NFL career, he played college football at the University of Tennessee. McGee played for the Volunteers from 1982–1985, and left as the school's all-time leader in receptions (123), receiving yards (2,042) and receiving touchdowns (15). In 1984 he set Tennessee single season records with 54 receptions and 809 receiving yards, and set a school record for a receptions in a game (ten), a feat he accomplished in two different games during the season. In 1985, McGee was a first team selection on the College Football All-America Team, breaking his own school record with 947 receiving yards off 50 receptions. He also set a school record that year with seven touchdown catches, which would not be broken until Joey Kent caught nine touchdown receptions in 1995. After his college career, McGee was selected in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. McGee was a major contributor in his eight seasons with the Bengals.
