Jon Lormer

Jon Lormier (May 7, 1906 – March 19, 1986) was an American actor. Born as Jonathan Lormier, he appeared in three separate roles in Star Trek: The Original Series: as Dr. Theodore Haskins, in "The Cage" (and "The Menagerie"); as Tamar in "The Return of the Archons"; and as the unnamed old man in "For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky." He also appeared (as Nathan Grantham) in the 1982 horror-comedy film Creepshow. In 1959 he appeared in Lawman as Harry Tate a newspaper editor, in "The Big Hat". In 1960 he played Harry Gillespie in the Rawhide episode "Incident of the Last Chance". Between 1960 and 1963 he was in four episodes of The Twilight Zone. In 1960 he played The Reverend in Execution. In 1961 he played "Man" in Dust and was credited as "John Lormer". In 1962 he played Strauss in The Last Rites Of Jeff Myrtlebank and Fletch Dilbeck on The Andy Griffith Show. In 1963 he played the Minister in Jess-Belle. In 1964, he played the part of Parnell Rigsby, a farmer who lost his wallet, in an episode of The Andy Griffith Show.
