Synopsis:
In the city of Managua, Nicaragua, hundreds of people live in a massive refuse landfill; called La Chureca ("the Scavenging Place") by those who live there, the dump resembles some sort of nightmare, where the rubbish of a huge city, dotted by smoldering fires, decays as the homeless pick through the refuse, hoping to find something useful. For one day, however, American musician and activist Braddigan sought to give the people of La Chureca a glimpse of a better and more dignified life.
