Synopsis:
Set primarily around a remote Bengali outpost, director Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Our Time explores the plight of the contemporary prostitute as a worldly "employer" recruits the rural women into the world's oldest profession. Laid back contact man Ratanda (Rudranil Ghosh) is looking for some classy girls to fill his growing stable, and soon ventures out into rural Bengal to hire high-profile call girl Ruma (Rupsa Guha). Recognizing that her loose living sister is about to make a fortune by selling her body, Ruma's sibling Soma (Dola Chakraborty) begs Ratanda to hire her as well.
