The Fugitive (1993)

Review

This movie was a big hit when it came out — making buckets of money at the box office and even garnering an Oscar nomination for Best Picture — and it’s not just because of the elaborate chase scenes, but because of the near-iconic casting. Harrison Ford is awfully good, as usual, looking genuinely frantic and haggard for the first time since, well, Frantic. Tommy Lee Jones also has the role of his life – and he was awarded with an actual Oscar statue for it. (He also returned for the Ford-less sequel, U.S. Marshals.)
